The Polish Institute in India is celebrating its first birthday with music! Bringing together India’s Reggae Rajahs with sizzling-hot Polish vocal talent, Marika, and Polish DJs, Dancehall Masak-Raf, Junior Stress and
The Polish Institute for culture in New Delhi is celebrating one year of exceptional events in India with anniversary music concerts in New Delhi and Bangalore - once again, reaching young audiences through top- shelf musical talent from both Poland and India. Produced in partnership with the Reggae Rajahs, the concerts will headline Polish performing artist, Marika, who has played as support for Sean Paul, Missy Elliott, Macy Gray, Erykah Badu and other world-class artists.
The events will feature some of the finest reggae, soul and funk artists from Poland, including: Marika, Dancehall Masak-Raf, Junior Stress and Ras Tooh alongside India’s heavyweight reggae entertainers, the Reggae Rajahs.
These shows follow upon the hugely-successful celebrations of the fourth anniversary of the Reggae Rajahs in March 2013 - a multi-city tour made possible by the support of the Polish Institute, which introduced Polish talents DJ Dreadsquad and jazz-soul singer Kasia Malenda to enthusiastic Indian audiences. These concerts will make an even bigger impact with more of the energy and excitement that lit up the dancehalls earlier this year.
